For more information, visit: Responsibilities:Perform and supervise junior engineers in the performance of structural analysis and design for assigned projects within established budgetsProduce and oversee the preparation of calculations, plans, details, and notes in conjunction with the production of structural construction documentsCoordinate structural construction documents (drawings, details, dimensions, general notes, and specifications) with documents prepared by other project team members (architect, MEP engineer, etc.)Attend meetings and perform field surveys and site visits as neededPerform construction phase tasks. Supervise and/or perform shop drawing review, answer contractor questions, and perform construction phase site visits (including preparation of site visit reports)Maintain and improve client relationships and relationships with other consultantsConsistently meet client schedulesObtain repeat work from clientsQualifications:2+ years of Project Management experience. Must be able to manage junior engineers and coordinate with multiple outside consultants.7+ years of Structural design. Experience should include new buildings, renovations, and additionsExperience with the design of structural repairs is a plusProficient in AutoCAD and/or REVITRequirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final considerationRead, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English languageBasic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team membersGPI offers excellent benefits, including a 401(k) plan, ESOP, medical/dental/vision plans, paid time off, and more.
