This role blends direct supportstaff supervision, and administrative responsibilities, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and a safe, supportive home environment.You will serve as a key leader on shift—supporting residents, guiding staff, and helping maintain smooth day-to-day operations.Requirements:Resident Support & CareSupport residents in developing independent living skills, including nutrition, hygiene, money management, and social skillsAssist residents with personal care and medical needsEnsure the safety, dignity, and well-being of all residentsAdminister medications and maintain accurate documentationPromote and facilitate community integration and participationDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain precise, accurate, and up-to-date recordsComplete detailed daily progress notes and shift summary reportsTrack resident progress toward IHP/ISP goals and document outcomesUtilize electronic systems for documentation, data entry, email communication, and uploading required documentsTransportationDrive agency vehicles to transport residents to medical appointments, community events, and planned activities during assigned shiftsStaff Support & SupervisionAssist with supervising residential staff by providing training, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and offering input for evaluationsCommunicate staffing needs, concerns, or changes to the Site ManagerAttend staff meetings and complete all required training sessionsProgram & Home ManagementSupport the Site Manager with home/apartment operations, including:Maintaining resident logsAssisting with budgeting and spending oversightSupporting social and recreational planningEnsuring proper maintenance of the home and agency vehicleFacilitating and participating in weekly house meetingsResidential DevelopmentAssist with residential development by helping set and achieve resident goalsCollaborate with the Site Manager and Interdisciplinary Team to develop and update goals through the IHP/ISP processComplete assignments and special projects as directed by the Site ManagerQualificationsValid driver's license with an insurable driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check with minimal violations (no provisional restrictions)Must have reliable transportation to and from work and be able to drive themselves between work sites when required; must also be comfortable driving agency vans when transporting individuals servedAt minimum, a high school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalentMust be 21 years of age or olderAbility to attend and successfully complete a required two-week, in-office paid training upon hire, as well as maintain annual recertificationsComfortable using computers and agency systems to document thorough, accurate, and detailed reports; log data into electronic systems, check and respond to emails, and upload required documentationIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other web-based systemsAbility to provide professional references during the application processPhysical & Mental RequirementsAbility to assist residents with mobility and personal careLift/Force Requirements:Constant: 10 lbsFrequent: 25 lbsOccasional: 50 lbsStrong judgment, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and make sound decisions while ensuring resident safetyCompensation & BenefitsPay: $22.00/hourFull-Time Benefits Include:Medical, prescription, dental, and vision insuranceLife insuranceTuition assistanceMatching 401(k) retirement planGenerous paid time off (vacation, personal, and sick time)Equal Opportunity EmployerOur House, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
