CNC Machine Operator

CNC Machine Operator Chandler Industries is looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join our team in Blaine, MN. In this role, you will operate CNC machines, support production processes, and ensure parts meet quality standards. You'll work alongside experienced team members while building your skills in machining and inspection. Operate CNC machines to produce parts and components to specification Load and unload materials and work-pieces into machines Review job documentation (routers, control plans, blueprints, inspection instructions) to ensure accurate setup and sequencing Perform basic inspections using standard measuring tools to verify part quality Deburr and perform surface finishing operations such as sanding Monitor machines and parts during operation to identify and report issues Replace tooling and assist with basic machine adjustments as needed Maintain coolant and oil levels and complete routine preventative maintenance checks Handle materials, tooling, and parts throughout production processes Accurately record job data and labor in ERP system Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards) Follow all safety guidelines, including PPE and OSHA requirements Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts High school diploma or equivalent Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, decimals) Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to learn blueprint reading and basic inspection techniques Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision Reliable attendance and punctuality Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude Previous CNC operator or manufacturing experience Exposure to blueprints, machining, or inspection tools CNC Machine Technology or related certification Ability to operate multiple machines as needed Ability to learn basic machine offsets and axis movements. Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Person as defined by federal regulations)
