W|A Associates, Inc is a small architectural firm located in downtown San Rafael serving clients throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Our diverse project portfolio includes multi-family residential rehabilitation projects, single-family home renovations, building code content development, custom homes, and commercial tenant improvements. Position Description Reporting directly to one of the firm’s Principals, this position offers valuable hands‑on experience across a variety of project types, and an opportunity to work under the supervision and mentorship of a Senior Architect. Responsibilities will primarily focus on technical and project‑related tasks including: Design Development and Construction Document production Site visits and field observations Building code and project‑related research Coordination and support throughout various phases of project delivery Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent professional experience Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD is preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with graphic design, 3D modeling, and presentation software Our Culture We offer a positive and supportive work environment that encourages professional development and long‑term career growth.
