Material Handler (Forklift Driver)

Computer knowledge, someone that knows how to use a computer and has the capacity to pull work orders, move barrels 50 +, bags etc.

• Receiving and Storing: Unload incoming shipments, inspect materials for damage, and store them in designated warehouse locations.
• Order Picking and Staging: Pull materials from inventory based on work orders and deliver them to production lines or the shipping dock.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated systems.
• Inventory Control: Track inventory levels, record item locations in management systems, and conduct routine cycle counts.
• Shipping Preparation: Pack, wrap, and label finished products for distribution, ensuring accurate documentation.

• Safety and Compliance: Maintain a clean work environment and adhere strictly to OSHA standards and company safety protocols. 

Essential Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Equipment Certification: Valid forklift certification or the ability to pass safety training.
• Basic Tech Skills: Familiarity with barcode scanners and inventory management software.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in labeling, recording quantities, and matching shipping documents to purchase orders
