With offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh (NYSE: MRSH).A day in the life.As our Claim Representative on the McGriff Specialty Team, you will:Obtain specific information regarding loss/claim to report to the company, as necessary.Advise customers what information is necessary for claims filing.Respond to customers regarding status of claims.Assist producers and claims team with claims status and special projects.Respond to company requests for policy information, as necessary.Maintain own diary system for use in periodic follow up on selected claims.Our future colleague.We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:High School graduateOperates under the direction of the claims teamUtilizes client relation skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients and market contacts; including excellent communication skills and service orientation, cooperative nature, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problemsConsiderable knowledge of basic company computer programs for word processing, accounting and applicationsPreferred Qualifications:College degreePrior brokerage experienceKnowledge of McGriff's claim management / agency management system or ability to learn quicklyWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
