EMS Programs Instructors must satisfy the following minimum qualifications: 1. Current Practicing as a Paramedic. 2. Current certifications in CPR, ACLS and PALS. (Instructor status is beneficial but not required). 3. Compliant with all federal, state and local regulations, including certification and licensing requirements as required by the discipline. 4. Must have a valid driver’s license. Desirable Qualifications: 1. Associates, Bachelors, or Masters Degrees preferred 2. National Registry EMT/Paramedic Certification preferred. 3. Additional instructor certifications preferred ie: Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC), Geriatric Emergencies for EMS (GEMS), EMS Safety, etc4. Minimum 2 years field experience as EMT/Paramedic with supervisory experience (preferred). 5.
