Communicate effectively with patients, families, team members, clinicians, and all departments. Provide detailed instructions to patients for their visits. Review and assess patient charts for data entry accuracy. Collaborate as a team to maintain an efficient working environment, ensuring timely calls to patients and referral sources. Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation/medical services and medical terminology. Handle patient registration and data entry. Perform scanning, faxing, and other clerical tasks. Collect copayments and patient balances. Assist with patient care as needed. Exhibit strong organizational skills. Understand insurance benefits. Doctors of Physical Therapy is looking for a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our RANCHO BERNARDO/SAN DIEGO CLINIC. The ideal candidate will seek longevity with a growing company, be a self-starter, and possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
