This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to design your practice around your professional goals within a premier, tech-forward environment, distinguished as one of the few HIMSS Stage VII facilities in the country.Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (1099 also available) | Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm with an evening, weekend and holiday on-call rotationCompensation: Permanent hourly rate: $135.00 - $150.00 | 1099 hourly rate: $205.00Location: East Chicago, INRelocation Assistance availableResponsibilities:Perform and document a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patientCall Rotation: CRNAs act as a second call to the Anesthesiologists. Typically, here for a case if there is more than 1 OR running after 3:30pm on the weekdays; or if this occurs on the weekends. We do our best to try not to schedule any electric cases past 3:30pm. When fully staffed, there is a weeknight and weekend rotation amongst 3 CRNAs. The schedules are monthly.Develop an appropriate anesthesia care plan based on patient history and surgical needsSelect, obtain, and administer the anesthetic, adjuvant, and accessory drugs and fluidsManage patient airway and pulmonary status using masks, endotracheal intubation, or mechanical ventilationFacilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia by selecting and administering medicationsProvide post-anesthesia follow-up care and evaluate patient response to anesthesiaSupport 28 ORs and Non-Operating Room Anesthesia areas including 7 GI suites, Cath Labs, and IRManage a daily patient volume of 2 to 10 cases depending on complexityParticipate in a 1 weekend per month call rotationUtilize AI-functionality within the Epic EMR system for inpatient and outpatient documentationMaintain compliance with HIMSS Stage VII standards for digital medical record sophisticationCollaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff in a multidisciplinary teamAdhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control standardsAttend departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiativesRequirements:Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational programCurrent state registered nurse licenseCurrent state advanced practice nurse prescriber licenseBoard Certified or Board Eligible by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse AnesthetistsCurrent ACLS and BLS certificationsProficiency with Epic EMR systems preferredBenefits:Highly competitive salary offers (negotiable – MGMA guidelines)Contract bonuses off of RVU's and quality metricsSign-on bonus (negotiable)Relocation reimbursement (negotiable)Medical/Dental/Vision insurance plans included403(b) opportunities including employer matchExceptional CME funds -$2,000Licensure reimbursement: license, CSR, DEA, Dues/SubscriptionsFlexible time offOpen to H-1B applicants who meet all federal requirements and possess an unrestricted Indiana medical licenseCompetitive compensation package aligned with current MGMA benchmarks; final salary is indicative and subject to adjustment based on the candidate's professional experience and qualifications
