About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years experience for RRT, 3-5 years experience for CRT License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: Must have 2-3 years experience if RRT, 3-5 years experience if CRT Description: Manage all respiratory therapy equipment and treatments. Perform transports and arterial blood gas (ABG) procedures. Independent intubation is not required; travelers will assist as needed. Cover inpatient settings including adult, pediatric, and neonatal units. Administer respiratory treatments and manage patients across various floors. Ensure communication with hospital staff and provide respiratory care support. Follow departmental protocols for patient care and equipment handling. Work every other weekend and be available for holiday shifts as required. Travelers may float to other facilities as needed. Maintain a clean and professional appearance while on duty. Experience with specific ventilators and respiratory devices is essential. Adhere to safety and quality standards in patient care.
