Description: Performs adult transthoracic echocardiograms. Conducts stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms. Assists in transesophageal echocardiography in accordance with established practices and procedures. Provides preliminary diagnostic evaluation. Notifies cardiologists of examination results. Consults with the cardiologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations. Determines technical factors to satisfy established requirements. Receives direction from providers and department managers/supervisors. Position requires participation in call rotation. Holiday rotation may also be necessary.
