Laboratory Technician

Shift time is 8am to 4pm or 9AM to 5PM. On Site. Position: Laboratory Technician. Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ. Duration: 12+ Months Contract. Total Hours/week: 40.00. This laboratory technician will mainly perform bench-level mechanical tests of medical devices, following written test procedures and not requiring constant supervision. Typical work includes: Hands‑on measurement of tension and compression forces on products. Vigilant compliance with procedures typical in a medical device company. Follow detailed technical instructions. Maintain attention to detail throughout long test durations. Accurately record and report test data. Applicants MUST Meet The Following Requirements Experience with using testing equipment in a laboratory or QC. Able to maintain concentration and attention to detail throughout long test durations. Good written and oral communication skills. Able to use PC software including Excel. The Following Are Desired Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomechanical engineering. Experience working in a regulated industry such as automotive or medical device. Experience in using mechanical testing machines such as the Instron.
