Preschool Tuition Monitoring Support - Temporary Position

The Preschool Department at Dayton Public Schools is currently recruiting for a temporary preschool tuition monitoring support position. This is a 10 hour/week position for the school year.

Position: Preschool Tuition Monitoring Support - Temporary Position

Reports To: Director of Preschool

Salary: $30.00 per hour/ NTE 400 hours Total number of positions: 1

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Management of the KinderConnect system to ensure all student tuition support information is accurate, including family contact information and daily attendance
• Ensures parents are correctly entering their daily attendance in the KinderSign system
• Serve as a liaison between the school district and the families of preschool children.
• Aids in the explanation of the preschool tuition assistance programs
• Assist families with tuition assistance with Montgomery County
• Support parents in completing forms and other documentation.
• Ability to learn the significant facts in an individual or family situation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S.
• Solid communicator both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google products
• Previous early childhood education experience.
• Sound organizational skills.
• Effective time manager.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service.
• Self-starter and highly motivated.
• Flexible and easily adapts to changes.

Work Environment

• Work will be in an office setting.
• Work may be subject to frequent interruptions
• Some assignments are subject to completion within strict timelines
