Legal Operations Specialist

KHM Travel Group is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Operations Specialist to support our corporate legal, regulatory, insurance licensing, trademark, and contract activities. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with teams across the organization while helping ensure the company remains compliant with applicable state and federal requirements. Work Schedule: This is a hybrid position, with three days working onsite and two days working remotely each week following completion of initial onsite training. Responsibilities Legal/Regulatory Prepare annual Shareholder and Director meetings Maintain Corporate Minute Book Prepare and file state corporate qualification documents Request state tax and employer Tax ID # for states qualified in File all required state annual reports, legal publications Maintain Statutory Agents in each state qualified in Complete Association renewals Prepare sweepstakes and contest giveaway rules and regulations for the Marketing Department Work with Marketing to ensure accuracy in advertising Maintain the corporate directory for outside counsel and CPA partners Work with Human Resource Department to ensure the company remains in compliance with applicable labor laws Travel Insurance Prepare and file new state registrations for the company and individuals Prepare insurance company affiliations Prepare renewals for state registrations for the company and individuals Trademarks, Service Marks, Trade Names Prepare and file Trademark and Service Mark applications for new marks Respond to any notifications received from the USPTO File Declaration of Use Affidavit and Declaration of Use and Renewal Affidavits for all marks Work with Marketing to ensure proper use of trademarks and services marks Monitor internet for potential infringement of KHM Travel Group trademarks Prepare and issue trademark infringement letters Contracts/Agreements Prepare NDAs for the company Review and prepare contracts and agreements Prepare Employment Agreements Maintain professional knowledge through industry organizations such as ASTA and other relevant resources Manage individual projects effectively and contribute as a member of the teamiv> Communicate effectively in both technical and business environments Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a legal, compliance, corporate operations, or related role; corporate legal experience preferred.
