Details Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab performing diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts with variable start times Patient population includes adults undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, left and right heart catheterizations, and Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring Performs procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias Epic charting system experience required Float policy allows reassignment to a different department, unit, or facility within a 75 mile radius if job specifications are met Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of submission BSN required AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience required Minimum 3-5 years of combined experience in PACU, ICU, CCU, and/or Cath Lab required Minimum 5 years of clinic nursing experience required Knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, equipment, and sterile technique required Teaching hospital experience required and must be noted in employment history Prior travel assignment experience required within the last 12 months Proof of COVID vaccination and booster required, or scheduled booster appointment prior to start date Two professional references from most recent employer required for consideration No pending certifications accepted Additional Information Provide direct patient care in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and EP procedures Locals accepted at the same rate as travel candidates Any prior employment history with University of California medical facilities or their acquired facilities must be disclosed, including dates, units, and manager names for rehire eligibility check All RTO must be disclosed and approved by the manager at time of offer, with no additional requests accepted mid-contract RTO cannot fall within the first two weeks of the assignment start date American Traveler Job ID P-714703.
