DescriptionKforce has a client in West Bend, WI that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will be supporting greenfield development.Duties:* Build APIs and event-driven services* Execute against existing architecture* Translate legacy XML-based systems, modern APIs* Deliver quickly with minimal rampRequirements* Strong backend/API engineering experience* REST + event-driven architecture experience* Proven Agile delivery experienceAbility to:* Take specs build test deliver independently* Write unit tests* Comfortable in greenfield, fast-paced environments* Ability to operate in ambiguous/evolving team structuresNice-to-Have:* Azure DevOps/pipeline setup experience* Experience modernizing legacy systems* Data transformation/mapping experience* Light React exposureComfortable with:* Moving fast* Working with incomplete information* Delivering independentlyJob TypeContractCompensation60 - $70
