What You’ll Be Doing As a Line Cook at Blackbeard's, you’ll play a vital role in delivering the high‑quality dining experience our guests know and love. Your day‑to‑day will include: Preparing and cooking menu items to Blackbeard’s standards. Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation. Following recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines with consistency. Setting up and stocking stations before service, and restocking as needed. Communicating clearly with servers, expo, and fellow cooks to ensure smooth service. Ensuring food quality, freshness, and proper holding temperatures. Operating fryers, flat tops, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely. Assisting with prep work, labeling, and storage. Handling rush periods with speed, accuracy, and a positive attitude. Following all food safety and sanitation procedures. Completing opening, mid‑shift, and closing duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For To thrive in this role, you should bring: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or kitchen environment. A strong understanding of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards. The ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
