Hybrid Interim Senior Corporate Accountant (6-Month)

Interim Senior Corporate Staff Accountant - Boston, MA (Hybrid) We are currently seeking candidates for an Interim Senior Corporate Staff Accountant at a telecommunications co. in Boston, MA, 02116. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of relevant accounting, general ledger reconciliation, and month-end experience. Will support the Corporate Controller, primary responsibilities include journal entries, general ledger, reconciliations, financial statements, fixed assets, A/P, A/R, audits, and month and year-end close. Duration: 6 months with potential for extension Hourly Pay Rate: Between $50.00-$70.00 (based on relevant work experience) 3 days on-site per week Starts May 4, 2026 Responsibilities Perform Journal Entries and Adjustments Post daily cash activity Balance Sheet Reconciliations Bank Statements Reconciliations Accounts Payable Reconciliations Reconcile General Ledger Accounts Reconciliations Financial statement preparation (subsidiary ledgers and identify variances) Assist in month-end close responsibilities Assist with policies and procedures Assist with implementing internal controls Qualifications 4+ years’ experience in general accounting, reconciliation, and month-end responsibilities Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent preferred Ability to multi-task High proficiency in Microsoft Excel For immediate consideration, interested and qualified candidates please forward an updated resume in a Word document to: View email address on click.appcast.io
