What You'll Be Doing

New hires receive 2 to 3 months of comprehensive, in-person training, including program knowledge, systems training, and policy understanding. Some modules require testing with a typical passing score of 80%. Attendance of at least 90% of training is required. Once training is complete, employees may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience)

• Experience determining eligibility for a State or County Department of Social Services program (Medicaid, Food and Nutrition Services, Work First, Child Care Subsidy, Child Support, WIC or Energy Assistance Program), Experience in a Human Services Technician role supporting any Human Services program in a county or state Department of Human Services or Social Services agency.
• Direct clerical or customer services experience providing support to a Department of Social Services program (Medicaid, Food and Nutrition Services, Work First, Child Care Subsidy, Child Support, WIC or Energy Assistance Program)
• Spanish language skills preferred but not required
