Loan Processor POST NUMBER: 33356

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional borrower experience. This role will partner closely with a dedicated Loan Originator (LO) and play a critical role in ensuring loans move efficiently from application through closing.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working directly with borrowers while managing complex loan files and changing mortgage guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate new loan files within 48 hours to ensure proper structure and complete disclosures.
• Analyze income, assets, credit, and supporting documentation within 24 hours of receipt.
• Prepare and submit complete, accurate loan packages to underwriting.
• Proactively clear underwriting conditions and keep loans on track to meet contract and rate lock deadlines.
• Maintain an organized and accurate pipeline within Encompass .
• Communicate regularly with borrowers, loan originators, underwriters, and other stakeholders throughout the loan process.
• Manage a pipeline of approximately 25–30 active loans while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.
• Support a dedicated Loan Originator, requiring the ability to manage more complex transactions and provide a high level of individualized attention.

Required Qualifications

• Current experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor .
• Hands-on experience with Encompass (required).
• Strong understanding of current mortgage guidelines, documentation requirements, and underwriting processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Outgoing, customer-focused personality with the ability to build rapport with borrowers.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience processing a variety of residential mortgage products.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with loan originators and underwriting teams.
• Demonstrated success managing a pipeline while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
