Veterinary Technician Manager

BluePearl Pet Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician Manager with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals. We are looking for someone with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. As a Veterinary Technician Manager, you will... Demonstrate highly advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician or Advanced Patient Care Associate within their appropriate department and maintain all related skills and knowledge. Create effective working relationships with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood, effectively communicated, and delivered upon. Serve as a subject‑matter expert and resource to Technicians and Assistants regarding daily operations, patient care, and skill development. Serve as a mentor to staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills, and business knowledge. Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution to create effective working relationships. Coach staff to create a culture of strong performance and high productivity. Communicate clearly with team members to ensure consistent understanding of new ideas, changes in protocol, policies, and impending changes. Build positive relationships across the hospital and administration to facilitate a teamwork environment. Implement process improvement initiatives. Work with the Technician Training Manager to schedule ongoing training. Document performance-related issues, assess team members during annual reviews, and provide hospital leadership with recommendations related to performance management and discipline.
