POSITION: Substitute Food Service June 18, 2026 Qualified candidates apply online via the Dayton Area School Consortium at . Open ended posting. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Meets all mandated health requirements. Documented evidence of a clear criminal record at the time of hire and every five (5) years thereafter. Food production skills and the ability to use commercial kitchen equipment. Ability to comply with nutrition, health, and safety regulations. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts. Meets all prerequisite qualifications to be bonded. Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record as a condition of initial and continued employment. Abilities Required Demonstrates professionalism and maintains a positive work attitude. Carries out prescribed activities efficiently with limited supervision. Works cooperatively to support a successful team effort. Communicates effectively using verbal, nonverbal, and writing skills. Completes detailed paperwork accurately. Reacts productively to interruptions and changing conditions. Averts problem situations and intervenes to resolve conflicts. Lifts, carries, and/or moves food service supplies and equipment. Performs tasks that may require reaching, crouching, kneeling, and/or crawling. Distinguishes variances in color, texture, aroma, and taste. Maintains an acceptable attendance record and is punctual. Travels to meetings and work assignments.
