Senior Software Developer Heartland School Solutions, the leading provider of innovative child nutrition management and secure online payment solutions to public and private schools in the United States, has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Developer. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Responsibilities Consistently develop and deliver projects on established timelines and quality expectations. Provide input to project plans by supplying accurate time estimates. Perform analysis of current programs, including performance diagnosis and troubleshooting of problematic applications. Update job knowledge by studying modern development tools and programming techniques, participating in educational opportunities, and attending conferences. Participate in code reviews, freely giving and receiving constructive feedback. Follow established Agile development methodologies. Engage in escalated technical support as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of software engineering experience with advanced knowledge of C#, WinForms, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL Server. Experience with DevExpress, .NET Core, LINQ, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, Web Services, Git, and Azure. Solid understanding of relational database design concepts. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills; proven ability to determine root causes of problems and identify base conditions. Comfortable working independently and in a team environment with a sense of accountability and urgency to complete assignments. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Salary $120,000 – $130,000. The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, pay will be determined by location, experience, and other job‑related factors.
