Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Basic literacy and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential.

Experience: No prior experience is required, though 0-3 months in housekeeping or floor care is beneficial and can be gained through on-the-job training.

Requirements: Strong communication skills, basic math ability, and organizational skills are important. Physical demands include stooping, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting up to 40 pounds, and pushing carts weighing up to 300 pounds. You should be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and able to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment. Familiarity with computer basics is helpful. Working conditions may involve exposure to unpleasant odors, body fluids, infectious diseases, and cleaning chemicals. This role is essential in supporting a clean, safe healthcare environment in a regional medical facility serving a broad six-county area in the Midwest.
