Position Details

• Location: San Antonio, TX
• Unit: Physical Therapy
• Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekend shifts per month
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

The role involves providing in-patient rehabilitation and occupational therapy services, including neuro and orthopedic patient evaluations and treatments across various care levels, including Acute, Ortho, Tele, and ICU settings.

Qualifications

• Must Have:
  
  
  • Active Occupational Therapy License (no temporary licenses allowed)
  • In-Patient Rehabilitation and/or hospital experience
• Preferred Skills:
  
  
  • 2-3 years of experience in rehab and/or acute hospital settings
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • NDT or Brain Injury certifications

Unit Specifics

• Start time is no later than 8:00 AM
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating Policy: Required as needed

  • Scrub Color: Sage green/olive scrub top, black scrub pants, sage green scrub jacket
  • Only white or black undershirts permitted
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no extreme styles or colors
• Facial Hair: Must be neatly trimmed
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible; non-coverable tattoos will be addressed individually
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
