Retail Leasing Agent

Job Opportunity

KWP is seeking a licensed sales agent to undertake retail leasing activities in Greater Los Angeles. The successful candidate will effectively explore the market to identify opportunities and secure new tenants on behalf of their clients.

Key duties include:

• Working with agents, admins, and the marketing team with the goal of leasing or selling properties to prospective tenants/buyers.
• Conducting property tours in the greater Los Angeles area (must have transportation).
• Assisting with deal transaction correspondence and paperwork.
• Negotiating lease terms and completing lease documents.
• Keeping abreast of the property market status through market surveys.
• Participating in team and client meetings, either in person, via Microsoft Teams, or phone.
• Assisting in the maintenance of Box.com file sharing system.
• Conducting market research as needed and client reporting.

Skills and experience required:

• Proven work experience as a leasing agent minimum 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree.
• California Real Estate license required.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel) required; Adobe Acrobat a plus.
• Experience with Costar, Loopnet, or VTS a big plus, but can be taught.
• Ability to work in a team environment with multiple working styles.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task.
• Motivated self-starter with ability to problem solve.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: Commission-based
