Registered Nurse Angiography

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Angiography/IR RN provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing angiography and interventional radiology procedures. They assist with pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-procedure care : Assess patient condition, review medical history, and obtain informed consent
• Procedure assistance : Monitor patient vitals, administer sedation, and provide sterile field support
• Post-procedure care : Monitor recovery, manage pain, and educate patients on discharge instructions
• Collaboration : Work closely with radiologists, technologists, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelors Degree is required
• Prior RN experience in Critical Care, Emergency Services, or Interventional Radiology is required
