Quality Engineer

You will be the Quality Engineer for the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured, repaired, and procured products meet or exceed design and process requirements. What You Will Be Doing Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes Updating planning and work instructions Analyzing quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformances Leading program parts review and corrective action meetings Ensuring corrective/preventive measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance Performing technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures Collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place Engaging in product failure investigations, and material review board decisions Evaluating quality systems for deficiency identification and correction Why Join Us The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail‑oriented engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about delivering flawless products to customers. Basic Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start and must have the ability to obtain a security clearance Bachelor’s level degree or higher in STEM Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements Familiarity with inspection methods, measurement tools, and basic statistical techniques Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Desired Skills Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies Familiarity with First Article Inspection per AS9102 requirements Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 quality management systems and aerospace quality requirements Experience supporting nonconformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes Experience with quality data analysis, metrics, and trend reporting Knowledge of configuration management and change control processes Experience using manufacturing execution systems or quality management systems Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
