APG Mechanic

Production Hangar APG, F-16 Technician

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Production Hangar APG, F-16 Technician for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This entry-level position supports production work in an assembly environment building F-16 fighter jets. The technician will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and modify aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of aircraft systems operation and maintenance
• Experience with landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, rigging, and aircraft movement
• Must be flexible and able to work any assigned shift after training
• Must be able to start 9/14/2026
• Crew Chief, Plane Captain, or A&P mechanic experience

What You'll Do

• Inspect aircraft systems and powerplants
• Troubleshoot aircraft systems and powerplants
• Repair, overhaul, and modify aircraft systems and powerplants
• Perform work in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards
• Support production work in an assembly environment
• Apply knowledge of aircraft systems operation and maintenance
• Train on first shift before transitioning to the assigned final shift

Work Schedule / Shift

• 1st Shift: MondayThursday, 6:00 AM4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: MondayThursday, 4:30 PM3:00 AM
• Possible Weekend Shift: ThursdaySunday, 6:00 AM4:30 PM
• Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or weekend shift as assigned
