Job Description: School Hours | Monday – Friday | Pay: $19.10 - $20.55 per hour Do you have a heart for helping others and a passion for education? Supplemental Healthcare is hiring Paraprofessionals to join our team and work alongside teachers at partnering school districts to help students with special needs succeed - academically, socially, and emotionally. Every day, you’ll play a key role in creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels safe, capable, and valued. Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children Prior experience working with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, or behavior management Education (must have one of the following): A minimum of 60 hours of college credits, or Associate's degree or higher, or Passing score on Missouri ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment, or Completion of Missouri's online Substitute training program Contract Details: Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork, communication, and daily routines Helping implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency Assisting students with special needs who may require help with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation Creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive Teaming up with teachers, therapists, and staff to make school a great place to be Willingness to assist with physical or behavioral needs as required You’ll be part of a collaborative, caring school community If you’re ready to make a lasting difference and help students feel seen, supported, and successful, we’d love to hear from you.
