Inventory Specialist

Worksource Oregon is partnering with a Portland Metro employer who is recruiting for an Inventory Specialist for their warehouse North Portland. REQUIREMENT S- High School Diploma/GE D- 18 years old +- 1-3 years of inventory, warehouse, logistics, or operations experienc e- Strong attention to detail and organizational skill s- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory software or database s- Strong time management and problem-solvin g- Reliable attendance and punctualit y- Solid teamwork and customer service skill s- Employer will do a background and drug scree PREFERENC ES- Experience in the event rental, hospitality, logistics, or warehouse indust ry- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certificati on- Experience with inventory management softwa JOB DUT IES- Manage and maintain accurate records of rental inventory within the company's inventory management system in a fast paced warehouse environm ent- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory aud its- Receive, inspect, and process rental items returning from eve nts- Verify inventory quantities before and after customer ord ers- Identify, document, and report damaged, missing, or lost rental equipm ent- Coordinate repairs, replacements, and disposal of damaged invent ory- Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize efficiency and accessibil ity- Assist in staging and preparing inventory for upcoming events and deliver ies- Monitor inventory levels and communicate purchasing needs to managem ent- Label, tag, and track inventory ass ets- Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory storage ar eas- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and event operations te ams- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practi ces OURS- Full time- Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with occasional overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak event sea #J-18808-Ljbffr
