Legal Counsel (New York City Metropolitan Area)

Our client, a major technology company in New York City, is looking for a mergers and acquisitions attorney with 3-5 years of big law experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage domestic and international M&A transactions from initial evaluation and due diligence through negotiation, signing, closing, and post-closing integration.
• Draft, review, and negotiate acquisition agreements, merger agreements, purchase agreements, letters of intent, term sheets, confidentiality agreements, transition services agreements, and other transaction documents.
• Coordinate with and manage outside counsel, investment bankers, financial advisors, consultants, and other transaction professionals.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to New York State bar.
• 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, including significant M&A experience at a big law firm.

Pay range: $220,000 to $270,000 plus bonus
