Dental Sterilization Technician

Old Bridge Dental, located in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a dedicated Dental Sterilization Technician to join our team.

Full time: Monday 9am-7pm, Wed 9am-7pm, Thursday 9am-4pm, Friday 7am-3pm, and Saturday 8am-2pm

Pay: 18-21 per hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and operatories
• Properly disinfect and sterilize all instruments
• Prepare and set up instrument trays (mirror, explorer, syringe, gauze, etc.)
• Sterilize handpieces and clean air/water syringes
• Monitor and restock operatory supplies
• Pour and trim dental models
• Assist with patient seating and treatment room setup
• Develop x-rays as needed
• Ensure cases are ready for pickup
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental office practices and equipment.
• Up to one year experience in a dental office assisting other technicians or having completed classroom instruction in related areas of biology, chemistry, health, or preclinical instruction in dental assisting skills and related theory.
• Experience working in a dental office breaking down rooms and sterilizing equipment
• Demonstrated ability in a detailed work environment and working according to established formats and protocols.
• Ability to interact effectively with other employees as well as with the general public.
