Branch Skilled - CNC Set-up person/Operator

Position Title: Set-up person/Operator Wage: $29.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 05:00 am - 03:30 pm Set-up person/Operator Responsibilities Set up CNC mills or lathes including installing fixtures, vises, and work holding. Load tools into the machine and set tool offsets. Load and run CNC programs written in G-code. Perform first-article inspection before starting full production. Operate the machine and monitor cutting operations. Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Adjust tool offsets, speeds, and feeds when necessary. Change worn or damaged cutting tools. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Requirements for Set-up person/Operator Experience operating and setting up Haas Automation CNC machines. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of G-code programming basics. Ability to use precision measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Basic mechanical and machining knowledge. Ability to lift materials and stand for long periods.
