Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Rochester, Minnesota. This role involves coordinating nursing care for critically ill pediatric patients across multiple specialties, including transplant and complex multi-organ cases. The RN will support professional nursing practices through direct patient care, education, and transitional care activities aligned with established standards and models.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift.
• Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Start Date: 07/27/2026.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of recent acute nursing experience, 1 year of recent travel RN experience, a valid RN license by applicable state requirements, at least 1 year of experience in an applicable care setting within the last 5 years, and the ability to read ECG strips.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified in Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), Trauma Certified Critical Care Nurse (TCTCN), BLS, PALS, and additional specialty certifications are strongly preferred.
• Special Skills: Cardiac monitoring/telemetry, ability to interpret ECG strips, experience with Level 1 trauma and intubated patient care, and solid organ transplant experience are highly desirable.
• Additional Details: Experience with pediatric liver, kidney, and bone marrow transplant patients, as well as complex congenital and multi-organ patient care, is preferred. Floating between units may be required, and orientation ECG exam must be passed to continue the assignment.
