Recycling Sorter
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking dependable and reliable Recycling Sorter associates for a recycling facility in the Bloomington, IL area . Responsibilities & Duties
• Sort recyclable materials from a moving conveyor belt
• Maintain a required pick count during each shift
• Work at a fast and continuous pace throughout the shift
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Wear required personal protective equipment (safety eyewear, hearing protection, reflective vest, and gloves) at all times
• Maintain awareness and focus while working on a fast-moving conveyor belt
• Perform duties in a non-temperature-controlled and industrial environment
Schedules & Pay
• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM | $16/hour
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM | $17/hour Requirements & Expectations
• Ability to work at a fast pace for the duration of an 8-hour shift
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Comfortable working in a dirtier, industrial environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to work on a fast-moving conveyor belt (motion sensitivity awareness required)
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
