VP of Finance

A high-growth, founder-led technology company is seeking a VP of Finance to help lead the business through its next stage of growth. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly scaling organization at a pivotal point in its evolution. The company has strong financial backing, an ambitious growth trajectory, and a lean operating structure. The incoming finance leader will have meaningful visibility across the business and the opportunity to help shape the financial infrastructure that supports its continued expansion. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the CEO, this person will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team while taking ownership of the finance function. The role is designed for someone who can think strategically about the business while remaining close to the details. You'll help shape financial planning, forecasting, business performance, capital strategy, and investor reporting while also strengthening the underlying accounting, systems, and processes. The finance organization is intentionally lean today, giving this person significant ownership across the function and the opportunity to build the team and infrastructure as the company scales. What You'll Own Lead financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and business performance analysis Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic and operational decisions Own board, investor, and capital-related financial work Build greater rigor and scalability across accounting and financial operations Oversee close, reporting, revenue recognition, billing, treasury, and related finance activities Strengthen finance systems, processes, automation, and reporting infrastructure Build and develop the finance organization as the company scales What We’re Looking For 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience Strong analytical foundation from investment banking, private equity, venture capital, transaction advisory, or a similar environment A hands‑on, builder mentality with the ability to move between strategy and execution Meaningful operating experience within a high‑growth technology company Experience owning financial models, forecasting, planning, and business performance Strong understanding of accounting and financial operations Exposure to fundraising, investors, board reporting, or financial diligence Comfortable operating in a lean, fast‑moving environment Strong executive communication and business partnership skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
