Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position located in Downey, California. This role involves providing specialized care within the labor and delivery department, supporting high-risk and routine obstetric cases during night shifts. • Required Qualifications:
  • 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a labor and delivery department
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (in the state where care is provided)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) certification
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field
  • Five (5) or more years of recent experience in labor and delivery (must have occurred within the last two (2) years)
  • One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years
  • High Risk Obstetrics (OB) experience preferred
• Additional Information:
  • Position involves delivering high-quality maternal and neonatal care, including supporting high-risk pregnancies and emergency situations. Adaptability to shift work and a focus on patient safety are essential.
