CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer Oxford Solutions is working with a manufacturing client seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a direct hire opportunity in the New Kensington, PA area. This role is ideal for someone with strong CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment such as aerospace, automotive, medical device, or a similar regulated industry. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing CNC programs to support precision machining operations. Responsibilities: Develop and modify CNC programs for machining operations Read and edit G-code as needed to support production requirements Use CNC programming software to create efficient machining programs Review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate part production Support setup and troubleshooting of CNC machining processes Work closely with machinists, quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve programming or machining issues Identify opportunities to improve cycle times, tool paths, and overall machining efficiency Maintain accurate documentation related to programs, revisions, and process changes Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of CNC experience in a controlled manufacturing environment such as aerospace, automotive, medical device, or similar industry Experience with CNC programming software required Mastercam and Hypermill experience preferred Ability to read and edit G-code Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, speeds, and tolerances Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work onsite in the New Kensington, PA area
