Hospitality Coordinator (Weekends Only)

Hospitality is everything above and beyond that: the small moments that turn a meal into an experience and a guest into a regular. We're hiring a Hospitality Coordinator to own that difference — someone whose entire job is making sure every guest who walks through our doors feels genuinely taken care of, not just served.

This role sits at the front of the house, overseeing the host stand and guest flow, but it's really about presence — reading the room, anticipating needs, and stepping in exactly when a guest needs it, whether that's a warm greeting, a refilled glass, or a quick recovery from something that went wrong.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the host stand and guest flow, ensuring every guest is greeted, acknowledged, and seated with genuine warmth
• Coordinate guest seating in partnership with servers and management to balance the dining room and keep wait times reasonable
• Circulate the dining room to check in on guests, build relationships with regulars, and catch small details before they become problems (topping off water and coffee, noticing an empty plate, following up on a special request)
• Identify and resolve guest concerns in the moment — turning a complaint into a reason to come back
• Serve as the liaison between the front-of-house team and the General Manager, flagging guest feedback, service gaps, and staffing needs in real time
• Set the tone for the floor — modeling what hospitality looks like for the rest of the FOH team
• Run food when servers are backed up

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in hospitality
• A natural people-person who enjoys reading guests and adapting to what they need
• Strong communication skills — comfortable talking to guests and coordinating with staff and management alike
• Calm under pressure, with good judgment for resolving conflicts diplomatically
• Highly organized and able to multitask during peak service
• A genuine belief that hospitality is a craft, not just a job duty

Job Qualifications

• Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company approved uniform at all times
• Must be able to operate P.O.S. computer system, make change correctly and make credit card transactions accurately
• Professional phone skills. Must be able to hear well with loud background noise, in order to answer telephone and respond to guest requests
• Required to carry trays and supplies. Assist in re-stocking & detail cleaning of all aspects of the restaurant
• Must be able to clearly communicate guest’s needs to other employees including bussers, hostess, and manager
