Case Supervisor (Practicum Student) - Denver Metro Area

This exciting opportunity is a role designed for individuals who are actively in their coursework to become a BCBA and are accruing practicum hours. The Case Supervisor role is intended to prepare an individual to be a successful BCBA upon completing their hours and passing their exam. The role will report to the Local Clinical Trainer (BCBA) at the team member's specific clinic.

Compensation and role design:

• Base pay: $22.50 - $28.50/hour , with signing bonuses available upon offer! Additional bonuses available if you are planning on testing within 3 months
• Serve as a case supervisor for 2-4 client cases (10-20 paid unrestricted hours/week) , learning and practicing the key skills to become a high-quality BCBA. This is a full-time position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as a case supervisor for 2-4 client cases (10-20 paid unrestricted hours/week), set based on center needs and program progress
• Update client goals and programming, utilizing our electronic data collection platform
• Provide direct supervision to a team of RBTs
• Participate in ESDM specific trainings, growing your clinical skillset
• Write Behavior Intervention Plans, utilizing the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill Based Treatment (SBT)
• Training and coaching to be provided
• Meet with families to conduct Family Treatment Guidance meetings and support, utilizing Soar's in-house curriculum
• Conduct and write assessment reports for new clients and re-assessments for established clients, including training on the Vineland, QABF, FAST, and the ESDM Curriculum Checklist
• Receive coaching and feedback from Partner Clinician and other BCBAs in your clinic
• Be a part of the Soar integrated care team, participating in interdisciplinary meetings for collaboration with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists
• Conduct direct client therapy (15-25 hours/week), set based on center needs and program progress

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in or recently completed a Master's program for ABA
• Be within ~400-600 hours (or less) of completing all practicum hours to be eligible to sit for the BCBA Exam
• Demonstrate excellent skills in building rapport and trust with families as a behavior therapist
• Demonstrate emerging skills in case conceptualization and client programming and planning
• Demonstrate emerging skills in coaching and supervising RBTs to implement ESDM therapy
• Desire to learn and grow and accept feedback
