Surgical Services - Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Position / Specialty: OR Tech/CST Call Requirements: We have call During the week Monday through Friday from 1530pm to 7am the next morning each day. Weekends are call 24 hours Saturday and Sunday. Holidays is also call only 24 hours. They would be a 4th person in a call rotation. I would say 1 to 2 call nights during the week and 1 weekend a month Start date: ASAP Shift: M-F 7:00-15:30 Experience: Certified scrub tech locum needs to work independent in Ortho total joints, Robotic surgery, general, gyn, urology and podiatry. Requirements: o Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) - OR - Tech in Surgery Certification (TS-C) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) at time of hire. o Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association. Education: o High School Diploma or GED o Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program or Military Surgical Technology Training Program Years of experience REQ: 3 Years First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes Certs REQ: -CST -BLS Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule?
