Inside Sales Manager

Position Overview This individual will assist in originating, structuring, and closing Heavy Duty, Work Truck Dealers, Vocational and Trailer Dealerships loans and leases. Commitment To Internal Control The incumbent must understand, abide and uphold the system of internal controls related to the essential duties and responsibilities of the position. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Act as primary support for the assigned Director of Sales and VP of Sales Manage a high velocity of transaction flow with a goal to provide the best-in-class customer experience Manage credit application workflow by frequently monitoring electronic queues/emails submitted by sales and/or business partners to proactively ensure all needs are met in an orderly and professional manner Responsible for being a trusted contact and sales support liaison between business partners, and MHCA credit and operations teams Know and understand the MHCA value proposition, our products and services Work with all internal disciplines (credit, operations, and accounting) to ensure smooth on-boarding of new dealers, upfitters and OEM’s Work together with Director of Sales to bring transactions to completion in an expedient manner Initiate follow up calls to internal/external business partners and third-party vendors to obtain missing information on active transactions Perform other related duties assigned by VP of Sales to achieve territory goals Initiate calls to prospective dealers and customers KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) Achieve target volume for Fiscal Year 2026 (to be determined by management) Achieve NIM target (to be determined by management) Responsibility And Decision-Making Authority Act independently; Decision making within company policy Qualifications Proven track record to originate volume from approved Transportation Dealerships Strong knowledge of underwriting, structuring and documentary requirements required by credit Adept at working with executives to develop long-lasting partnership relationships Competencies Thinking Skills Analytical ability Creativity innovation Problem-solving Communications Ability to listen Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations Interpersonal Relationships Ability to work in a team Diversity - shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences Ethics - treats people with respect Quality Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Detail-oriented Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently Technical and Professional Approaches others in a tactful manner Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; shares expertise with others Business acumen - understands business implications of decisions and demonstrates knowledge of market and competition Personal Qualities Self-motivated Adaptability - adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands Entrepreneurship Networking skills Client-oriented Results-oriented Education And Experience Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Tools And Equipment Used Personal computer, copier, fax, phone and other office equipment Ability to use virtual meeting software Working Hours Hours may vary and will require evening work depending on business needs This is a hybrid position; 3 days in office The job description does not constitute an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an “at will” relationship and is subject to change by the employer as the needs of the employer and requirements of the job change. The position is exempt and the salary will be between $62,000 - $72,000 with an opportunity to earn a sales commission. The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience and education.
