Housekeeper – Wedmore Place

Location: Wedmore Place at The Williamsburg Winery

Wedmore Place is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our hospitality team. Nestled among more than 300 acres of vineyards, Wedmore Place is a European-inspired boutique hotel known for exceptional guest experiences, elegant accommodations, and outstanding service.

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of our guest rooms and public spaces. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is committed to providing a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, and public areas according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Dust, polish, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain flooring throughout the property.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms to ensure the highest level of cleanliness.
• Remove trash and recycling from guest rooms and common areas.
• Restock housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged property promptly.
• Ensure all guest rooms are properly prepared for arrivals and departures.
• Assist with laundry operations when needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and inquiries.
• Follow all company safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
• Support team members and assist with additional duties as assigned.

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout a scheduled shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
