Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of full-time ER/critical care experience and TNCC certification.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• No floating to affiliate hospitals required
• Blocked scheduling not permitted

Requirements

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required in hand before start
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP
• Preferred certifications: ENPC and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in ER and/or Critical Care required (PRN experience not accepted)
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Skills preferred: Conscious Sedation, Level 1 Trauma Experience, Telemetry, Triage, and Vents
• Proof of COVID vaccination required
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across a range of acute and critical patient presentations
• Facility can assist with obtaining required certifications
• Must reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates not accepted
• Zero tolerance policy for marijuana use; a positive THC test will result in automatic contract cancellation
• Returning travelers welcome if it has been 6 or more months since their last assignment at this facility
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this role
• No rate negotiation permitted during the term of the contract
