Caregiver Position

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to be a part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors' lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

Responsibilities and duties include companionship, light cooking and cleaning, assistance with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting, assistance with mobility, transfers and medication reminders, transportation for appointments and assistance with errands, and performing all job duties with dignity, compassion, care and empathy.

Qualifications and skills include being at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma, verifying legal eligibility to work in the United States, proof of current TB testing and health physical, passing a criminal background check according to IL state requirements, passing a drug test, having a personal reliable vehicle and proof of a valid driver's license and automobile insurance, being physically able to perform the duties of this position, possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills, being mature, caring, punctual and reliable, having basic knowledge of technology in order to use our cell phone app for clocking in/out, documenting completion of tasks and reporting changes in client's condition, and previous experience working as a caregiver or experience caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons is required. Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour.
