You will perform a variety of tasks which involve making the Navy Inn a home away from home for our valued guests. Your work will make an impact and support how our organization serves the best customer – our Military patrons and their families. Typical Day and Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to our valued and honored guests. Utilize Property Management System to access guest information and retrieve reservation details. Train, instruct and supervise personnel assigned to Front Desk. Provide assistance in handling customer complaints. Supervise all front desk operations and reservations. Participate in hiring front desk staff, evaluate and counsel staff, complete performance evaluations. Qualifications 1 year of responsible experience in administrative and professional or other responsible work which enables applicant to gain general knowledge of business practices. May substitute one year of academic study above the high school level in a hotel/lodging/hospitality school for 6 months of general experience. 2 years of responsible experience in administrative supervisory professional or technical work that demonstrated knowledge of front of house hospitality operations or similar work within a guest services environment. Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties. Must pass a pre‑employment criminal background check.
