Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Night Shift Contract)

Location

El Paso, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Every Other Weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 41-bed Emergency Department with a patient ratio of 1:4 (core) and 1:6 (fast track)
• Work night shift alongside a team that includes a charge nurse, trauma nurse, unit clerk, and mixed paramedic/tech/RN mid-shift staff
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient management
• Operate within established unit guidelines; special equipment training provided during orientation
• Complete CPI training within 6 weeks of onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• ACLS/ALS certification required
• ENPC or PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume emergency department environment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Strong adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
