Job Title: Change Management Specialist

Location: Apple Valley, MN (hybrid- onsite 5 days every 2 weeks)

Duration: 6-month contract

Overview

Our client is seeking a Change

Management Specialist to support a large, multi-year organizational

transformation initiative tied to a major M&A effort. This role will focus

on driving change adoption, stakeholder engagement, and readiness across impacted

teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Change Execution & Adoption

• Lead and support change management activities aligned to large, complex program milestones
• Assess and track organizational readiness, adoption, and engagement
• Translate business and technical changes into clear, actionable messaging

Stakeholder Engagement

• Identify impacted stakeholders and assess level of impact
• Build relationships across program teams, leadership, and business units
• Serve as a liaison between leadership and frontline teams, ensuring feedback flows both ways

Communication & Change Strategy

• Execute and refine communication plans for impacted audiences
• Reinforce the purpose and value of changes to drive adoption
• Ensure consistent, scalable messaging across all stakeholder groups

Data-Driven Change Management

• Develop and execute readiness assessments, pulse surveys, and adoption metrics
• Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback
• Incorporate findings into project plans and change strategies

Program & Tool Integration

• Partner with internal teams and external vendors across project tools (Smartsheet, Workfront, Jira, Confluence)
• Participate in project syncs, working sessions, and discovery efforts
• Support current-state vs. future-state analysis

Change Leadership & Coaching

• Support leaders in managing resistance and change fatigue
• Provide guidance on team-level adoption strategies
• Embed change management practices into overall project operations

Required Qualifications

• Experience with structured change management frameworks (Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter); Prosci certification preferred
• Hands-on experience driving change on medium to large initiatives (not purely advisory)
• Proven experience supporting large, multi-year programs
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across all organizational levels
• Ability to translate complex changes into team-specific impacts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise, non-technical language)
• Experience conducting readiness and adoption assessments and driving follow-up actions
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, PMO-driven environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within complex, multi-vendor program environments
• Familiarity with project and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Workfront, Jira, and Confluence

This is a Contract position based out of Apple Valley, MN.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
