About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30309!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required licensure for state Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Experience in administering conscious sedation - Knowledge of bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and EGD - Ability to manage dysrhythmias Description: Our endoscopy unit averages 45-65 cases daily. We operate 8 procedure rooms for both inpatients and outpatients. Respiratory therapists assist with bronchoscopies within the unit. GI techs support a wide range of GI procedures from basic EGDs and colons to complex interventional GI cases such as ERCP, EUS, POEMs, and cystgastrostomy. All procedures are supported by an in-house anesthesia group. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. No call duty is expected. Floating within the facility/scope of practice may be needed. Clinical screening will be conducted to assess fit, followed by a final decision from management. Up to 7 days of requested time off is permitted during the assignment. Travelers are expected to work at least one major holiday if it falls within their assignment period. Compliance with onboarding requirements is mandatory to start on time. Full compliance is required prior to commencement.
